Waterhay / Pit 82 – Cuckoo, all 10 common Warblers singing including 2 Grasshopper Warblers reeling in the field by Pit 82 (1 seen) – JM. Later in the day a male Whinchat – Ken Cypher.

North Meadow, Cricklade – Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, 3 pairs Canada Geese, 2 Mute Swan, Mallard, Curlew, Black-headed Gull flock, Swallow, Chiffchaff, Common Whitethroat – Fran Tattersall.
Pit 74 – Twitcher’s Gate – Hobby, 3 Shelduck, 4 Common Tern, Cuckoo – Ken Cypher. The Purple Heron reported again in flight early aft – CWP Rangers.
Pit 43 – 9 of the 10 common Warblers (no Reed Warbler) – Roger Gillespie.
Pit 57 – Hobby.
Pit 41 – Osprey over at 5pm – the first definite sighting this spring – Dave Creber.
Swillbrook – 4 Hobbies hawking at midday, also Garden and Cetti’s Warbler – JM.

Blakehill – 3 Kestrel, Cuckoo, pair Stonechat, 2 Common and 4 Lesser Whitethroat, Linnet, 6 Green-veined Orchid – Robin Griffiths.
