CWP 126:   37 Red Crested Pochard, 51 Greylag Geese, 50+ Tufted Duck,  117 Lesser Black Backed Gull,  9 Common Tern, Oystercatcher, 2 Lapwing, Pied Wagtail, 3 Sedge Warbler.    John Fletcher

CWP 111–111a:   Whelford pools. 1 Common Tern, 11 Red Crested Pochard, 13 Great Crested Grebe (many juvs), 7 Tufted Duck,  Shoveler, 2 Garden Warbler, Goldcrest,  2 Reed warbler, 2 Willow Warbler – singing, Sedge Warbler.   John Fletcher

Chris Snook has sent me a couple of buzzard photos taken around Cricklade yesterday.  They do show how variable Buzzard can be and why sometimes you have to be certain what you see.  At first glance, one of these could easily be mistaken for an Osprey or depending on the time of year, Rough Legged Buzzard.
