CWP 16/17:      Nightingale singing between  South Cerney and the lakes this morning (this is an additional bird to the one reported last night) plus arrived willow & reed warbler, Sand martins & Cetti’s Warbler   Tim McGrath

CWP 74:   Nightingale singing early evening from the scrubland between Twitchers and the CWPT yard, bird also heard in song this morning.  No sign of Little Gull.  Oystercatcher 1, Herring Gull 1, Lesser black-backed Gull 3, Buzzard 2, Lapwing 1, Teal 1, Greylag 2, Red-crested Pochard 3, a pair of Wigeon. CWP 16:  At 13.40 an Osprey heading NE low over the lake.   Tim McGrath

Cleveland Lakes:   Around 59, 68 a,b,c,d and Cleveland Path.    Cuckoo 1, Garden Warbler 5, Grasshopper Warbler 1, Great Spotted Woodpecker 1, Lesser Black-backed Gull 3, Mistle Thrush 1, Oystercatcher 1, Reed Bunting 4, Song Thrush 3, Whitethroat 1, Blackcap 7, Chiffchaff 6, Great Crested Grebe 4, Lapwing 1, Mute Swan 20, Red-crested Pochard 1, Reed Warbler 4, Sedge Warbler 3, Tufted Duck c120, Willow Warbler 10, Wren 6.   Bob Markham

Good views of singing Nightingale by CWP 43.   Also, good views of singing Garden Warbler near CWP 57 and two Kingfishers along the Thames pathDominic Singleton

Blakehill: Whinchat, 2 Wheatears, Lesser Whitethroat, Green Woodpecker head and feathers found on ground presumably prey of some raptor.   Robin Griffiths
