CWP 43:    2 Nightingale singing.  Also Sedge warblers, Willow warblers, Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps, Common Whitethroat, Song thrushes, Cetti’s warbler, Great spotted woodpecker, Green woodpecker, 2 Cuckoo, Bullfinch, Jay, Grey Heron, Mixed flock of  40 – 50 Swallow, House and Sand Martin.  Graham Powell.  Roger Gillespie.  Andrew Whittaker.

CWP 74:   The first-winter Little Gull showed well for a while mid-afternoon. It rose from the scrape when accompanying large gulls were disturbed there and fed with the Black-headed Gulls on emerging insects on the lake surface.   Also in the area Cuckoo, 2 Wigeon and Common Whitethroat .   Red Crested Pochard and lots of Sand Martin and Swallow.  John Grearson.  Richard Williams
