Grey wagtail, Lechlade, on house extension flat roof    Paul Sims

This has been a very quiet autumn to date.  I suspect a number of birdwatchers have been attracted to the coast where birding has been a bit more interesting.  Wildfowl numbers are building up in CWP and as the weather changes we should see some movement.   This year may well show good waxwing numbers and they are are moving down the country so keep a note of good rowan and berry sites for checking later on.
