CWP 68a/b:    100+ Cormorants swimming in a tight flock at the extreme E end of L68A.  I rather suspect they may have been making a communal effort to chase a fish shoal, they were really close together and moving into the corner of the lake. Along the permissive path, 9 Red Admirals, a Comma and a Green Woodpecker.Curlews heard over the scrape area.    In front of the Reed Hide an adult Great Crested Grebe feeding fish and crayfish to a youngster.    John Grearson
