Cleveland Reedbed:   Juvenile Garganey seen from the hide. Also there; 3 Shoveler, 10 Red-crested Pochard, 2 Gadwall, 4 Tufted ducks (including a pair with 5 young), 14 Mallard, 5 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Green Sandpiper and 5 Little Egrets.    Kim Milsom

CWP 132: Pair of Little Ringed Plovers with one (possibly two) tiny chicks, 2 Green Sandpipers, 2 Common Sandpipers, 2 Common Terns, Little Egret, 2 Grey Herons, Grey Wagtail (with possible young) by the water pump, Kestrel, Yellowhammers, Linnets, Garden Warbler, Blackcap, Bullfinch and a Green Woodpecker heard. Large numbers of Mallard, Coot and Greylag/Canada Geese, 88 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 2 Herring Gulls, worn-looking Painted Lady (possibly same one as seen a couple of weeks ago).   Steve Davies
