CWP 74, Twitcher’s Gate: An hour at Twitchers this afternoon produced the following set of birds :- Oystercatcher 3, Lapwing 3, Red-crested Pochard 10 males, Pochard male, Shelduck 1, Common Tern 7 occupying the right-hand raft, Little Egret several sightings, Buzzard 1, Cuckoo 1, Greylag 4, Mute Swan pair with 4 cygnets, Tufted Duck now pairing up (John Grearson)

Shorncote reedbed (CWP 84/85): Barn Owl quartering the meadows, Little Egret, Tufted Duck with ducklings, Lapwings, a Common Tern, a singing Skylark and plenty of Warblers (Reed, Sedge, Chiffchaff, Willow, Whitethroat, Cettis), Swallow, House Martin, Sand Martin, Swift and a Buzzard .  Plus Red Admiral, Peacock and Banded Demoiselles. (Richard Williams)
