CWP 74: Nightingale at Twitchers gate, plus 6 Black tailed Godwit and an Oystercatcher, 5 Greenshank flew over. There are also 2 male and one female Garganey on the scrapes but not at present visible from the gate. 5 Red-crested Pochard, 3 Lapwing, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 adult Great Black-backed Gull, 1 Cuckoo, 2 Lesser Whitethroat. Waterhay: Cuckoo at CWP 68c. Nightingale singing in scrubland just inside the gateway from the bridle way into Cleveland path and a Garden Warbler further along the track.
