I always put the monthly WeBs sightings at the end of the post but have a look at the Cleveland Lakes count for today.    Among over 5000 birds, Nick Adams recorded 445 Shoveler which makes that count internationally important.  A good reason for asking for your records of everything you see.

Shorncote Reedbed:   3 Siberian Chiffchaffs, 10+ Chiffchaffs, 3 Cetti’s Warbler in song, 6 Reed Buntings, 1 Grey Wagtail, 4 Goldcrests and 15 Little Egrets.   Kim & Sue Milsom, Paul & Sandra Attaway.

North Meadow:  12 Pintail, 641 Lapwing, 134 Golden Plover and a Black Swan.   Nigel Pleass per Swindon Birds.
