CWP 57:  pair of Goldeneye.  Bob Markham

Shorncote p.m:  Along the flooded path at least 9 Chiffchaff including one Siberian, a Goldcrest, 6 or more Wren and 3 Cetti’s Warbler singing nearby.  Gadwall 32 and a few Wigeon, Teal, Tufted and Pochard.  Green Woodpecker and Water Rail calling.  On the sewage works fields 12 Little Egret, a Meadow Pipit and 22 Common Snipe.  A Barn Owl near the crossroads at 1610 despite it still being windy.  John Grearson
