WeBs day today and it is worth having a look at the number of birds being recorded around Cleveland Lakes (inc GBB Gull). We do get criticism over a perceived lack of birds in CWP, but apparently this site (or should that be sight) is amazing at present.

Ashton Keynes: Garden Sightings. The ground feeders are attracting large numbers of birds currently. Blackcaps up to 8 (5 males on Friday, 3 females on Saturday). Reed Buntings visiting constantly, estimate 15-20 individual, probably more. Long-tailed Tits usually over 10 at a time. Blackbird 6, Goldfinch 8, Coal Tit 2. John Grearson
