Lower moor:  2 Nuthatch on feeders with Reed Buntings etc.  2+ otters.  Bob Philpott

Ashton Keynes:  2 Lesser Redpolls on the roadside just south of CWP83, feeding on the seeds of Great Willowherb. In the flooded field nearby a flock of about 50 Lapwings.  In the garden today three Blackcaps together, the new bird a male. Also a Wren, a Coal Tit and the first returning House Sparrow of the year.    John Grearson

Shorncote: Redpoll, Goldcrest (extremely approachable), Stonechat 1 pair, Chiffchaffs 4+ (including one with Siberian colouring), Reed Buntings 4+, Chaffinch 8, Grey Wagtail, Green Woodpecker 1+, Buzzard, Mallard 36, Tufted Duck 27+, Teal 1 pair, Gadwall 1+ pair, Grey Heron 2, Little Egret 2, Magpies flock of 15, Mute Swan 5+, LB/B Gulls 8, B/H Gulls 30, Coot 10, Moorhen, Cetti’s Warbler (several but heard only), 4+ Long Tailed tits, Blackbirds, Wrens, Blue Tits, Dunnocks    Huw Jones
