Lower Moor: At the car parking area, Peregrine over, Kestrel, 4 Bullfinches, Greenfinch, Coal Tit, 3 Jays, Fieldfares and Redwings, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Meadow Pipit, Grey Wagtail at the farm buildings. Possible Merlin in the back fields. Steve Davies
Ashton Keynes: An increase of activity at the feeders today – Goldfinches 15 at once, a few Chaffinches and Greenfinches, Pied Wagtail, Reed Bunting, Starlings up to 9, Coal Tit 2 and good numbers of Blue & Great Tits. Blackbirds taking Pyracantha berries. Overhead this afternoon at dusk a pre-roost flock overhead of probably in excess of 10,000 Starlings. They flew over the house in a huge loose flock in a westerly direction and veered round to the north-east. John Grearson
