Canal by Gateway:   Cetti’s warbler feeding youngster. Reed warbler singing well from top of reeds. Lots of family parties moving through reeds but not easily seen. Bob Philpott

CWP 6: 7+ pochard,  pair of red crested pochard,  2 pairs of grebe with young including one with 4 very small young, coot with young and several coot showing territorial behaviour.  Bob Philpott

CWP 74:  14 Little Egret, 11 Teal, 7 Shoveler, Wigeon, 4 Pochard, 88 Tufted, 3 Oystercatcher, Little ringed plover, Black Tailed Godwit, Ruff, 4 Green Sandpiper, 27 Lapwing, 32 Common Tern, 5 Green Woodpecker, Kingfisher, 300 Sand Martin, 4 Cettis warbler & 38 Reed Warbler. Nigel Pleass

CWP 305:   11 Red crested pochard and adult Little ringed plover Nigel Pleass

CWP 130a: 4 Lapwings, Common Tern, pair of Reed Buntings, Green Woodpecker feeding youngster, 2 Chiffchaffs, Sparrowhawk.   Steve Davies

CWP 132: Redshank, Green Sandpiper, Little Egret, 6 Lapwings, 4 Common Terns.    Steve Davies

CWP 126: 3 Green Sandpipers, 2 Oystercatchers, 3 Pied Wagtails, 10+ Common Terns, 40 Sand Martins, Green Woodpecker, 2 Blackcaps, Sedge Warbler, pair of Red-crested Pochards, 65 Greylag Geese. About 300 Starlings came to roost on CWP 125.    Steve Davies
