Circular walk around CWP43\38\41\58 & Swillbrook:  39 species recorded including Hobby (over Swillbrook), 2 Nightingale (CWP43), Cuckoo (CWP58), Lesser Whitethroat (CWP43), Garden Warbler (CWP43) + all other usual warblers.  3 Little Egret (CWP38), Kingfisher (CWP43), pr Red-crested Pochard (CWP37).   Nigel Sluman

Waders on CWP 74 Scrape this morning; 5 Oystercatchers, 2 Ruff, 1 Black-tailed godwit, 1 Green Sandpiper, 4 Dunlin, 1 Greenshank, 5 Little Ringed Plover and 8 Snipe. Also 2 Common Terns on CWP 74.  Kim Milsom

Canal towpath Siddington to S Cerney:  Birds:  1 Willow Warbler observed for 10 minutes singing continuously, 4+ blackcaps singing, 3+ chiffchaffs.     Bees: 1 Common Carder Bumblebee (possible Queen) on ground ivy, 1 Red-tailed Bumblebee Queen.
Butterflies:  5+ male Orange Tips, similar number of unidentified small white butterflies on the wing, 1 Sm Tortoiseshell, 2 Peacocks.   Plants:  in full flower and abundant: Blackthorn, Ground Ivy, Cuckoo flower (see pic), Bluebell, Wood Forget-me-not, Lesser Celandine, White Deadnettle.   Huw Jones
