CWP 41 (Freeth Mere):  Garganey – one pair.  Male calling, courtship preening and head wagging.  6 Pairs Teal.   Pair of Wigeon. Female Goldeneye.  Great spotted woodpecker drumming   John Lewis.   Graham Powell.

CWP 43:   Peregrine Falcon.  Many chiffchaff (also throughout the Water Park), 4 cetti’s warbler, 2 willow warblers, reed bunting (all in song).   Graham Powell.

Wheatears are back at Blakehill this evening with 4 males seen.    Also noted:
Short-eared Owl in flight and then perched at 17.35, 40+ Meadow Pipits, 16 Skylarks, 5 Swallows, Buzzard, Stoat    Dave Collins
