Ashton Keynes:  Garden sightings.  Little Egret over.   The first Small Tortoiseshell sunning itself on heather, a Honey Bee on Snowdrops and a Bumblebee banging against the French window this afternoon.  Common Frogs have reappeared in our garden pond this week for the first time. 6 during the evening of 25th, followed by 40+ being very active in the sunshine on 26th.       John Grearson

Brown Hare at Upper Waterhay, a species I have not recorded there before.  Also present 7 Long-tailed Tits, a Bullfinch and a Redwing.    John Grearson
