CWP 104 area, the river coln and adjacent fields: 40 wigeon, 80 gadwall, 24 teal, 60 shoveler, 20 pochard, 80 tufted duck, 9 goldeneye, smew(redhead), 6 little and 10 great crested grebes, 14 cormorant, 3 heron, sparrowhawk, 3 great spotted woodpeckers, 80 skylark, grey wagtail, 7 chiffchaff with 4 goldcrest(along river), 20 long-tailed and 2 marsh tits, 20 goldfinches, 30 linnet, 3 bullfinch and 30 yellowhammers.  Mick and Jo Jones

Lower Moor Farm: Jay making regular visits to the bird table, 4 Bullfinches (1m, 3f), 6+ Reed Buntings, 3 Chaffinches, Several Blue Tits & Great Tits, Goldcrest, Green Woodpecker, Kestrel, 9 Red-crested Pochard, Grey Heron, 2 Cormorants, 11 Lapwing over the car park, Greenfinch, 14+ Redwings, Mistle Thrush. Cricklade: Big garden bird count: 60 individuals of 13 species including 1 Goldcrest, 12 House Sparrows, 14 Starlings and 15 Wood Pigeons! Sadly my Blackcap stayed away! Robin Griffiths
