Shorncote: Little Owl, m and f Sparrowhawk, 11 Little Egrets on flooded field, 3 Grey Herons, 2 Water Rail seen and several heard, 3 Snipe, 120 Lapwing over, 90 Teal, 30 Wigeon, 6 Shoveler, Little Grebe, Kingfisher, 15 Skylark, 8 Meadow Pipit, fem Stonechat, 10 Fieldfare, 60 Redwing, singing Mistle Thrush, 4 Song Thrush, 1 Cettis’s Warbler seen and 3 more heard, 2 Grey Wagtails, 6 Linnets, 25 Goldfinches, pair Reed Buntings, 2 Ravens, Jay, 1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 6 Common Chiffchaff.    Jon Mercer

CWP 6 (survey):  5 Tufted Ducks, 66 Coots, 3 Red-crested Pochards, 2 Moorhens, 7 Mute Swans, 4 Snipe, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 8 Wigeon, 6 Mallards, 3 Black-headed Gulls, 1 Water Rail, 1 Kingfisher, 3 Bullfinches and 1 Reed Bunting.      Also an angler landed a 25 lb 4 oz Pike.    Kim Milsom
