CWP 6:  from Gateway.  Cetti’s Warbler, 4 Bullfinch, Reed Bunting, Wigeon, Red crested Pochard, Tufted duck, Coot, Robin singing from hedge in car park.     Bob Philpott.   Malcolm Royal.

Canal Path from visitor centre:  Cetti’s Warbler, Bullfinch, Chiffchaff, several Robins, Wren and Dunnock.       Malcolm Royal

CWP 28a:  5 Smew (2 m, 3 redhead), Merlin, Shoveler, Gadwall.    Malcolm Royal.   Rosie Mack

(N.B:  The Smew are moving around the above 3 lakes so the numbers being reported will reflect that movement – there are probably 6 smew in total).

CWP 44; c20 Red-crested Pochard and 2 Goosander vanishing into the fog.     Kim Milsom (WOS Trip)

Shorncote; Siberian Chiffchaff on the stream along with up to 20 ‘Collybita’ Chiffchaffs, several Cetti’s Warblers, multiple Water Rails moving around the flooded footpath, and a Little Owl in a pollarded Willow viewable from the South Cerney/ Shorncote footpath where the path exits the playing fields.    Kim Milsom (WOS Trip)

Waterhay  and Cleveland Lakes:    Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Cetti’s Warbler, 8 Bullfinch, Redwing, Fieldfare, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Pied Wagtail, Goldcrest, 2 Jay, 2 Raven, Goldeneye (m on CWP 72), Wigeon, Gadwall.      Malcolm Royal

Lower Moor:  Female Kingfisher from middle hide.  Rosie Mack.

CWP 132: Pintail, 150+ Teal, 20 Mallard, Grey Heron, 2 Pied Wagtails, 3 Goldcrests, Treecreeper, 8 Blue Tits, Kestrel, Buzzard, Mute Swan and a Cormorant.   Steve Davies

Kempsford Sewage Works: At least 5 Chiffchaffs, 2 Collared Doves, 4 Pied Wagtails and a Grey Wagtail (riding one of the watering arms).    Steve Davies
