The River Churn at Cerney Wick – a Grey Heron & 2 Moorhens by the roundhouse. A mixed flock of 100 or so Fieldfares & Redwings bathing in laying water on the field by the river before flying into the trees along the canal. Also 10+ Long-tailed Tits. (Trevor & Sue Clayson)

CWP 6 & Gateway Centre – a pair of Mute swans with 5 cygnets, a Great Crested Grebe, 35 Coot, 6 Wigeon, 2 Tufted Duck, 6 Gadwall, 2 Black-headed Gulls & a Moorhen under the feeders at the café. (Trevor & Sue Clayson)

CWP 12 – 8 Mute Swans, 17 Great Crested Grebes, 3 Goldeneye (1 male), 6 Red-crested Pochard (5 males), 14 Mallard, 56 Tufted Duck, 7 Pochard, 74 Coot, a Cormorant, a Grey Heron & 19 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. (Trevor & Sue Clayson)

A Buzzard and a Grey Heron in the field adjacent to CWP 15. Along Wickwater Lane – 6 Mistle Thrush, 30+ Fieldfares & 10 Long-tailed Tits by CWP 15. 50+ Redwings in the field by CWP 60. A Grey Wagtail feeding in the puddles in the lane. (Trevor & Sue Clayson)

Cleveland Lakes (CWP 74, from Twitcher’s Gate) – 19 Cormorant, 2 Mute Swans, a Little Egret & 120 Lapwing. 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers on a telegraph pole. (Trevor & Sue Clayson)

Kent End Farm Quarry (pit 200) – 2 Mute Swans, 3 Pied Wagtails, 23 Black-headed Gulls, 23 Lapwing, 31 Pochard, 3 Little Grebes, 4 Cormorants, 2 Tufted Ducks, 3 Teal, a Green Sandpiper, a Snipe, 3 Moorhen, a Coot & a Greylag Goose. 89 Canada Geese on the grass, 12 with red collars.
