Ashton Keynes (private and restricted area):  2 black redstarts still present and seem to be staying put despite very noisy work going on around them.    Dave Soons

Shorncote:   Teal 20, Shoveler 6, Gadwall 10, Pochard 7, Little Egret 1, Green Sandpiper 3, Snipe 2, Lapwing 70+.    Water Rail calling, 2 Raven.    3 Cettis’s Warblers calling (1seen), 1 Grey Wagtail, 10 Pied Wagtails, 15 Meadow Pipits, 2 Stonechats, 30 Linnets, 25 Goldfinches, 8 Reed Buntings.    7 Redwings, 4 Song Thrushes, 1 Mistle Thrush, 15 Blackbirds ( very wary, presumably continental birds).   Most passerines moving over going SW.     Jon Mercer
