CWP 301: Pair of Mute Swans with 12 cygnets still, 189 Canada Geese – 41 with red collars, a Grey Heron, 66 Greylag Geese, 11 Great Crested Grebes, 46 Lapwing, a Cormorant, 7 Tufted Duck, 2 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 90 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 10 Black-headed Gulls & 6 Chiffchaff.  Sue and Trevor Clayson

CWP 97 – 5 Mute Swans, 34 Canada Geese – 2 with red collars, 3 Great Crested Grebes, a Cormorant, 4 Pochard, 6 Coot, 40 Lesser Black-backed Gulls & 4 Swallows.    Sue and Trevor Clayson

CWP 6 – 47 Red-crested Pochard, 4 Tufted Duck, a Pochard, a Grey Heron, a pair of Mute Swans with 6 cygnets, 10 Great Crested Grebes, 38 Coot, a Moorhen & 2 Reed Warblers.   Sue and Trevor Clayson

CWP 9 – a Mute Swan with 1 cygnet, 15 Canada Geese, 7 Coot, 3 Black-headed Gulls & 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.   Sue and Trevor Clayson

2 Wheatears on the new gravel workings west of the footpath between the rail path & Wickwater Lane. ( SE of CWP 15 )    Sue and Trevor Clayson

CWP 74 – 4 Mute Swans, 24 Cormorants, 2 Grey Herons, a Little Egret, 6 Great Crested Grebes, 13 Tufted Ducks, a Pochard, 5 Lapwing, 61 Coot, a Moorhen, 5 Swallows, a Green Woodpecker & 6 Long-tailed Tits in the lane.    Sue and Trevor Clayson

Kent End – a Greenshank, a Grey Heron, a Cormorant, 2 Mute Swans, 4 Little Grebes, a Great Crested Grebe, 10 Tufted Duck, 2 Moorhens, a Yellow Wagtail, 2 Pied Wagtails, a Swallow, 5 House Martins & 4 Long-tailed Tits.    Sue and Trevor Clayson

Amongst dragonflies seen were Emperor, Brown Hawker, large numbers of Common Darter & Blue-tailed Damselflies, along with Comma, Brimstone, Red Admiral & Large White butterflies. Also a very large Hornet on the Cerney Wick side of the railway bridge.    Sue and Trevor Clayson
