Shorncote:  Coot, moorhen, mallard, tufted duck (inc. 4 ducklings), mute swan (inc. 2 cygnets), Canada goose, grey heron, greenfinch, pied wagtails, house martin, carrion crow, jackdaw, magpie, wood pigeon, black-headed gull, common tern (3 adults, 2 fledglings), great crested grebe (inc.2 juv.), lapwing, snipe, redshank. 2 cormorant.   Andrew Cormack

CWP 68:  Waterhay Area– 3 Buzzard (pair + juv), Hobby hunting Sand Martin at 6am, Yellow Wagtail over, 30+ Garden Warbler, 30+ Whitethroat, 6 Lesser Whitethroat, 30+ Blackcaps, 3 Cettis Warbler,  5 Sedge Warbler, 20+ Reed Warbler, 10+ Willow Warbler, 5 Chiffchaffs and Raven.    Nigel Pleass.

CWP 6:  2 male pochard, several Red Crested Pochard, 2 Common tern feeding, family of Great crested grebe outside the Gateway centre.   Bob Philpott

CWP 74: 10 Curlew, Green Sandpiper, 4 Little Egret, Green Woodpecker calling from with CWP 95.  Bob Philpott

Dance Common, Cricklade: 21 butterflies of 8 species for Big Butterfly Count, plus a further 3 species which are not included in the scheme because of difficulties in identifying them. The latter species were Small and Essex Skipper and Brown Argus. Others species seen include a Migrant Hawker and  a female of the scarce sawfly Tenthredo omissa (this being new to this location).    John Grearson
