Red Kite seen from A419 near CirencesterFelicity Cobb

Eysey:    5 Little Egret, 4 Raven, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 41 Greylag Geese and 55 Canada Geese, including 7 neck tagged.   Ken Cypher

Ashton Keynes:   Over the garden simultaneously today a Hobby and a Red Kite.  Also a noisy flypast early this morning by a Green Woodpecker.  Several recent sightings of Hobby, they seem to keep a watch out for newly fledged House Martins.  A report earlier of a Sparrowhawk killed while hitting a window elsewhere in the village.    John Grearson
